Re: Titanium Lowering!
Don't lower it. You already have low profile tyres so you will loose out on comfort big time.

Re: Headlamp Bulbs Blowing Mk7
I have just purchased 2x wires for the headlamps and fitted them today. A fairly simple job but he cost of the wires were £34. What a rip off, and for a TSB which is a design fault in the forst place. I think Ford are trying to be a Ferrari for parts prices.

Re: 1.6 tdci not starting problem
Sounds like the steering column lock is malfunctioning. Can you unlock the steering wheel, or get the ignition to turn on.

Re: Headlamp Bulbs Blowing Mk7
Thanks for the feedback. I will get my local Ford dealer to investigate. The original bulbs lasted just over a year, so I think a resistor will be justified.

Re: Headlamp Bulbs Blowing Mk7

Headlamp Bulbs Blowing Mk7
I have had the fiesta for 4.5 years and have gone through 6 H7 headlamp bulbs. Is this common or is there some thing wrong with the car. 4 of the bulbs have been performace bulbs from Philips and Osram. I have now switched to cheaper versions.

Re: 2009 fiesta wont start
I now have a satisfactory conclusion. Having escalated my argument with various people within Ford, I stated that I would not authorise repairs until the dealer could diagnose the problem or Ford assisted them with costs should the wrong part be fitted and further diagnostics required. My dealer did...

Re: 2009 fiesta wont start
So here is Fords answer. We think it could be the KVM keyless vehicle module at £183 or the electronic steering lock at £267, plus probably a days labour for diagnostics, Ford cant be sure its these two parts. Try those first and if not we will look at it again. My dealer has tried everything they c...

Re: 2009 fiesta wont start
The car has been at Fords since Monday and they think its the steering lock ecu. This only applies to cars with keyless entry. Having said that, they can't be sure and have asked Ford HQ who are aware of the problem but dont have a fix for it. Lets see what happens.
