Great advice mate thanks alot. Today I reset the trip and got52mpg around town following you guys advice.
What's the recommended tyre pressures for the 17inch sport pack alloy tyres?

The light bit & dark bit are fixed by melted plastic studs so can't be removed separately. Found this was causing the rattle so invested in some dynamat deadening mat, it's completely cured the problem and takes about 30 minutes with a hairdryer and fibreglass roller for each door trim I have the s...

Hmm having doubts about puma speed now :think: would you use them to remap yours?
And is it true that a remap won't void the warranty?

Yeah smoked chrome on yours looks smart mate, I think I do prefer the gloss black tho, and I think it will look really good with blue or red break calippers(still deciding). The only thing that worries me is how the chrome window lining ect will look because ATM I feel it goes nicely with the silver...

Yeah mostly short trips to college and work and back really like 6/7 miles a trip I would say my average is. The clock is on 39.4mpg atm. If I reset the mpg and drive as sensiblyI can get it to stay around late 40's early 50's but I have to be constantly watching the mpg counter and if I get frisky ...

Does anybody know how big of a job it would be to remove and spray the exterior plastics i really think i would have to pay somebody to do it as im useless at that kind of stuff.

and @marshboy have you got any pics with the smoked chrome alloys?

but normally I get between 40-47mpg Woah, thee lowest I've had [since it has worn in] when driving enthusiastically for a whole tank was 55mpg! Sounds like you're driving it like a petrol. Thanks for the reply nath, I'm thinking a remap from the local pumaspeed centre, they quoted me £300 which seems pretty steep. are they trustworthy to be remapping my car? lol and will a remap void the warranty because the guy a pumaspeed said that ford will not be able to tell its been remapped.
