I'm dreading cutting the roof liner apart though Don't even want to consider messing up and then putting up with a huge hole in the liner until i get a probably very expensive new one!!

Looking at doing this next weekend.
But a bit clueless when it comes to the lights with the map reading lights aswell, are there different wires or whatever that i'll need to add/wire to somewhere for them to work aswell, or is it all incorporated into the main light?

Haha, the 1 is more than enough for me mate :D True, but to be fair, i'm useless with wires and wiring, so would have no clue how to go about it :lol: In my old banger, i made a friend do all the wiring for 6x9's etc, it didn't look that hard in all honesty, but still, i would of messed up somewhere...

The little slot on the back of the key, stick a screwdriver in there and push. That seperates the top and bottom halves. Then on each side of the fob there is a small little push clip, push those and you'll expose the battery. Change then reverse process, everything should click back into place with...

Will they be there on a zetec? Also what speakers are best too put there? I don't think they even have wiring for them in anything below the Zetec S/Titanium. You'd prob have to ring Ford to confirm/set me right. Thanks, I havent got any problem putting them in myself its just a damb site lot easie...

The S is sold seperately, it isn't all one part. Just get any Zetec one, then find the S seperately.

Imo, the centre console is the main attraction sort of when people look at these cars.
It alone pretty much made me want a mk7, so 6 months later, i had one
