Have you thought about getting your roof wrapped. ie covered in vinyl and heat shrunk on. Makes it easier if you change your mind.
Most of the decals on trucks are vinyl wrapped but you wouldn't know it.

Lowering down 30mm willbring your car to the same spec as the Zetec S, so shouldn't be any problems.

The wheels may be not have enough ET. The depth that the wheel sits in or out of the wheel arch without either fouling the suspension or the outer wheel arch. Ford qoute an ET of 38 standard up to 47.5 for the "Streetpack " wheels which are wider at 7 inches x 17. Check with your supplier preferably...

The 17inch streetpack alloys have an ET of 47.5.. They are 7 inch wide.

Still have a set of Street Pack wheels . Delivery Milage only, (10 Miles) No buckles, kerbing or damage. Had tyres on, had tyres taken off, in reality still new wheels. 2 minute job, kit should come with 4 pop rivets. Or as previous post use nuts and bolts.
