Re: Mountune Short Throw Shifter

Had mine fitted for a couple of months now, it's superb! Changes seem sharper and (so far) i haven't had any grinding when going into reverse, well worth the £170 (i got the gaiter & gearknob as well)

Might have to stop for a look on the way down. Mate of mine's been there a couple of times & says it's worth going

Re: carbon parts

Sounds interesting if the price is right, was going to vinyl wrap the console in carbon but i lack the patience, 1 bubble and i'd be swearing at it ;-)

Re: Brace Yourselves Everyone

Trouble is the rims i've got need 195/45 16's which is a fairly unusual size, could go to 205/45 16 and the price drops but the aspect ratio is then out which affects the speedo. Had a look at the new shape fez the other day and noticed they're on 195/50 16 so may look at getting some of them

Re: Squeaking Gear Lever When Changing Gear...

I'd tell the garage to retrain the mechanic, if the flywheel stops spinning after 5 seconds then the engine would have stalled! Could be a slightly low oil level as it's doubtful the synchromesh would be buggered after 4 years unless it'd been used on a track or been round the clock a couple of times
