Hi all just got my mk7 fiesta and I am very impressed. I've Had a lot of fords over the years from Capris ,sierra and escorts to a few mks of fiesta. I have a 1978 T plate mk1 Fiesta ghia in my garage roadworthy and taxed. My last daily driver one was a mk6 1.4 tdci that was very nice car but had been abused too much before I got it and was never very reliable. I have had a Volvo s40 for while (focus in a party dress) and that was a bit of a lemon too
.It lasted a few years but died early or committed suicide I'm not sure what but everything seemed to break at once so It had to go. I'm a ford man at heart so had to be a ford and the fiesta suited my needs. I found a 2010 1.4 petrol titanium in squeeze (yellowish greenish colour) ex demo/curtesey car with 20,000 miles cheap and Its very nice . I had to get an armrest kit as these cars just need one although it does hamper the handbrake a little also needed mats and a good T cut but its fine. It Does have a few rattles but seems a lot are like that something to do with manufacture being clips and not good ole screws ! I will track the rattles down eventually and kill them with some rubber or something. Also I need a real spare wheel as I have the stupid inflation kit. Few other things on the list but you know how it is cars have to personalised right
