Possible New Owner

Post by Spark »

Hi guys

Looks like a great busy forum been reading a few topics and decided to sign up. Currently I have a mondeo St tdci but looking at downsizing due to costs etc and I love the shape of the mk7.

Currently looking at the zs but I like the toys on the titanium so not sure yet

Cheers

Welcome to the site. You could always look at one of the special editions like the metal or s1600, basically a zs with the toys!

Hey, unfortunately they don't do the metal in diesel, only petrol

Welcome!
The diesel is great. There's a couple of comparison threads on here if you do a quick search. With the cost of fuel rising it really does tick all the boxes in my opinion.

I know that the car will be a bit drop in power from the Mondeo but its just the general running costs

Has anyone retro fitted the cruise control yet?

It had been done once that I know of but it needs to be coded by ford and your looking at a hell of a lot of money for the privilege of them doing it for you.

All I know of is the leaky footwells due to there being bad seals or no seals, and i have a rattle on the driver side compartment. Apart from that I think there's no real common problems, they are well put together cars.

not to sure if ford still do it but you might be able to buy a titanium with the zs kit on it bt only with 16'' on it.
