The bikes are being lavished upon.
Image
The Kawasaki ZZR600 599cc Nitrous bike (the Silver one above) is tucked away and SORNed for the winter, away from all that salt they insist on chucking about. It is lovingly connected to an Optimate battery conditioner. It will be having some LED marker lights fitted so hopefully Myopic Maureen will have a better chance of seeing me. The brakes will be rebled with DOT4 (in case Myopic Maureen STILL doesn't see me). The suspension linkages will be stripped, regreased and reassambled. The front forks will be reworked with different weight oil, and more of it.
It is having a centrifugal lock-up clutch made for it. Can't buy them off the shelf, so it has to be a one off. This will enable the clutch to handle MORE power  Without the N20 it's kicking out 95bhp. Enough for 160mph top speed, and 0-60 in a time you car drivers can only dream about :D :D
It will be on a track day next year. Almost certainly the Snetterton300. Maybe Santa Pod too.
The Blue one in the pic above is a ZZR1400 (1400cc). It can do 0-60 in a time that I can only dream about :D :D If you see one at the traffic lights, don't even bother trying to beat it

The BMW R1200GS
Image

Will be having some stainless farkles fitted. Some essential cleaning. It will be ridden on nicer days. It's already had the BMW badges changed for SAAB badges, to confuse the old codgers. It has most of the things it needs.

The car??? It will get a damned good thrashing. It's a car, a tool, a soulless tin box. It deserves fuck all.... (It might get a remap in the new year though)....

Bah! I miss my bike :-( not having another one tho, 3 months in a wheelchair with a broken pelvis and thigh and the aches that go with the metal that i now have holding me together sees to that! Image this is what happens when you try and fit renault brakes to a 900 hornet after finding the oil that someone kindly leaves on a corner. As for the fezza, shes having some 30mm rear & 20mm front spacers and a short shift arm on the gearbox, maybe some coilovers too if funds allow

You did a proper job of that. Sounds like you are lucky to be alive.
