This is for me and my girlfriend. She is the holder as she drives to work daily in it but I'm added on and bring down the price as I've been driving longer and I'm older.

The strange thing is, our old car, a 1.2 10 year old 75hp Renault Clio cost £60 more to insure than our 18 month old Zetec S.

Baffling.

Just to add: We like Quote me Happy because there is pretty much no customer service for applications and amendments. It's all online, even submitting no claims is simple (a renewal quote number is sufficient as NCB proof). Any changes are simple. No faffing about with overseas call centres as you just log on and make your changes. Fingers crossed it is simple enough to make claims too!

Admiral has always been a safe choice for me. I am not really impressed with other companies. I worked in insurance so I know how the game works.
