Tighten Handbrake?

Tighten Handbrake?

Hi ive got a 59 plate zetec s. And ive noticed my handbrakes been getting quite loose recently :(
Anyone know how i can tighten it?

Is it drums or discs on the back axle?

Drums

Most cars have a nut on the cable which you can tighten found on the hand break end. Not sure on fiesta though

Got to remove the drum if you tighten it at the shoes end

wheel off 2 securing screws out the drum and gently prise and tap with a hammer and the drum will come off the with a small screw driver adjust the shoes with the adjuster screw
its a simply job when you done it once
