Got a lot of water in the rear passenger footwell, anyone had this before and can explain the source?

Its not the door seals as I washed the car and inside door was bone dry

its so frustrating - thought it was the air con because it had dried up after I lifted seats and carpet and didnt run the air con, so I assumed drainage pipe would be blocked, although heavy rain over the past few days has made the under felt wet again

thinking may be pollen filter drain or something?
