Anyone used Plasti Dip?

Post by stutick »

I am constantly reading about vinyl wrapping etc... But i have just seen on the interweb Plasti Dipping...

if you haven't seen it here's a link on You Tube... plasti-dipping a BMW M3 in Matt white...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jayyTUy3GTw

Plasti dipping Wheels

The good thing is as you can see in the video is that any over-spray just peels off.

The downside being the finish is Matt rather than gloss...

I was thinking Mirror caps etc

Has anyone tried it?

I might give it a go.. if i don't like i'll just peel it off...

Just think you could change the colour scheme of your car weekly

I tell a lie, you can buy a Glossifier if you don't like the Matt Finish :)

A friend of mine 'plasti-dipped' his front bumper on his Audi A5.

Worked a treat and hardly chipped at all.
