Potential zetec s tdci owner

Post by AdB69 »

Hi I'm new to this forum so excuse my 'newness'
I drive an arctic corsa vxr, my girlfriend a tigra convertible.
We are viewing a 2011 panther black zetec s tdci on Friday, provisionally paid a deposit.
I'm not a numpty but is there any obvious signs on these cars to walk away from?

Great forum from what Iv seen and will be back a lot,

Cheers

By 2011 most of the common faults should be sorted (since it was released in 2008) such as leaks & rattles.
Only minor thing is door seals peeling.
You'll still have a year of warranty left to sort out anything major, not that there should be on a 2 year old car.

No problems on my 2008 Blue TITanium TDCI.

The main problem, coming from a Land Rover, was I couldn't find the diff lock, but apparently they aren't fitted to Fiestas
2009 Fiesta 1600 tdci TITanium. 65.64mpg so far :-)

Couple of motorbikes. Sod the MPG, they're faster and more fun than cars :-D
