Door mirror replacement

Hi! I'm a newbie looking for some help. I need to replace the driver's door mirror on my May 2009 Fiesta 1.6 Titanium. The current mirrors are power fold & electric but not heated. I have located a full replacement unit but it's heated as well as power fold and electric... is this a problem or will the electrics on the unit still just plug in and work ok? :? The really annoying thing is that only the colour cap and black surround of the moving section of the mirror have damage; the power fold function and electric adjustment still work perfectly - is it possible to swap out the black shell of the moving section only, retaining the original workings? Please help! Thanks in anticipation of a kind soul helping me with advice and a bit of know how!

Are you sure it's not heated? Herating is usually provided before the power fold function (in the UK anyway). There is no seperate switch for the mirror heating, it comes on with the heated rear screen

when you say yours are not heated , why do you say that ,
most electric mirrors are heated it works off the rear demister i dont think ive seen electric mirrors that are not heated.

ive just fitted power fold mirrors myself and you can strip the mirror down to swap the black parts its all clipped together.
