Hi, i'm new on here and need some help. I bought a 58 plate titanium 3 door last week and love it already, there's just one thing annoying me and its that the passenger door card rattles  i've taken the window switch out to have a look and reckon i can solve the problem with some foam padding but i can't work out how to get the door trim off without wrecking it, i assume it just pulls off once the door handle & catch have been unscrewed but i'm not sure, any help would be gratefully appreciated, cheers :D

Welcome

Glad you're enjoying the Fiesta!

Ive taken the door handle cover off.. That just pulls off
Can't remember if there are screws behind it, but it's a start

Cheers, i got as far as unscrewing the door handle and latch, they're just torx bits, fords usually have a couple of screws in the bottom of the card out of sight but i can't see any, just have to stick a bar in and give it a tug  like the gel badge covers by the way, mines panther black as well so might have to invest in some

The door cards just pull off, you need to use a little force, they're held on by the white clips - please note these cips can break easily and if you need to get replacement clips they cost £1.83 for each clip, what a bloody rip off by Ford

Cheers, typical ford, tried to tell me my handbrake was siezed at the last service & quoted me nearly £350! (changed their tune when i asked if it was covered by warranty tho)

apologies for resurrecting this thread but can someone help me pls - I dont want to just "pull the door card off" (dont mind breaking those white clips)

even better would be if i could just take out the "light" grey plastic part of the card leaving the "dark grey" bit in place :)

can anyone pls give me a step by step guide to this process?

The light bit & dark bit are fixed by melted plastic studs so can't be removed separately. Found this was causing the rattle so invested in some dynamat deadening mat, it's completely cured the problem and takes about 30 minutes with a hairdryer and fibreglass roller for each door trim

Disconnect and remove electric window switch.
Remove door pull handle trim surround
Undo 2 screws holding door pull handle to door
Disconnect and remove electric mirror switch
Remove circular trim button from the door interior handle
Undo panel screw exposed above
Unscrew and remove 2 lower plastic rivets securing trim to door
Prise bottom & sides of trim away from door to release clips
Lift panel up and away from door, disconnecting wiring connectors and interior handle release cable.

Best of luck.
