Scheduled Maintenance

Hi all, was thinking of carrying out the servicing myself on my Mk7. There is no Haynes manual and have noticed a protection plate underneath the engine that must need removing to access the oil filter as i cannot see it from above (unless have missed it). Does anybody know if the access to the oil filter is easy or roughly where it is???

Hey, removing the undertray is usually a few clips. Not sure on the fez but ive had a few undertrays where you have to turn the clips a quarter of the turn, then the tray will come off.
As for the filter, i would of thought you can see it from the top as its a element one, not a spin on. Make sure you use a good oil filter (bosch) and the right oil.
Also you say about haynes, im sure that they are in the making of producing one.
