i didn't know you could get a kit to do it.

As you can see from my pics i've done it my self and its pretty easy to do your self all you need is acoustic carpet (colour of your choice) some spray glue, scissors, may be a stanley knife, time and patience

Couldnt see your pix but have found the guy in Austria selling the kit at 39.90 euros including postage. When I can find a cheap way of getting the money to him I will order and post the results.

Thanks for the image and have sent money via paypal, so just waiting for kit to arrive. I am not very good on the old diy front so lets hope the kit is fool proof. I will post pictures when it is done.

Hi guys,

Can anyone answer a couple of questions on this for me?

1. What type of carpet did you use? I've seen some acoustic carpet on eBay (300gm) which looks suitable. Will this work?
2. What spray glue did you use?
3. How do you get it so neat? There doesn't appear to be anywhere obvious to tuck the sides in. Do they just glue right to the edge of the metal section?
4. Other than using sparingly, how do you avoid glue seeping through the carpet?

Sorry for the silly questions...

James
