Cheapest Insurance 17-21?

Post by MrDunleavy »

Hi everyone,

A little about me;

Age: 20
Car: 1.6 Zetec S
Time passed test: 1 month ago

I been getting quotes from £2500 all the way up stupidity like £19k.

£2,500 is with one of those telematics which I don't really want to have but is my only option unless someone can recommend me an insurer for the same price or even lower without the box?

Help is much appreciated! :)

Thanks guys!

l can't believe the prices young drivers have to pay nowadays! l pay £225 for the year fully comp. No wonder young drivers drive without insurance! l don't condone it but l see why it happens!

£2500 is fairly competitive for a new driver

Yes £2500 is very competitive and I am quite happy with it. But it means having a telematics which I would prefer not to have.

Adrian Flux quoted me £6243.66 lol. My postcode area is rated a D on http://www.motorcarinsuranceuk.co.uk/po ... atings.php which comes out in the middle.

I also looked on Sky Insurance but found their website a little hard to get to grips with as there is nothing for regular car insurance....

Thank you for having a look. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like one for us, we need a full 2 years driving experience via our car club scheme.

Thanks
