Ryan's Little Project Thread

Post by Ryan Middleton »

Hi guys

Not planning on over doing this, just want to make it look very very nice indeed :D hoping to do as much as this as possible myself, where's the fun in getting someone else to do it for me

Future Plans

Gun metal (anthracite) powder coated alloys
Gun metal colour coded front plastics and rear diffuser
Team Heko wind/rain deflectors
Lockwood 'S' door Sills
Painted Interior plastics (air con surrounds, door handles, head unit surround and steering wheel plastics (either black or colour coded with alloys and exterior plastics
Black Tinted headlights (seen a guy on here do this and looks fantastic)
Install Subwoofer and parcel shelf speakers (had an Edge sub amp and 6x9's in my old fiesta and now having this for a week now, I miss the system already :|
Possibly front door speaker upgrade (undecided as I am lead to believe that it is a hard job to do)
6000k or 8000k dipped and fogs HID conversion with xenon halogen side lights full beams and number plate lights
Red painted brake callipers
Red gel DMB overlays, front and back and Centre wheel caps
Darker window tints, currently have tinted glass which you can basically see right through. Also had fully blacked out on my old fiesta which I also miss
Sun strip (undecided)
New exhaust back box, unless there are any exhaust extensions that can just be attached to the existing exhaust, still undecided on this as may want a louder exhaust.
Mountune rear spoiler extensions
Curpa style front chin spoiler/splitter (think may be mountune)

Any suggestions please also advise, all comments welcome.

Thanks guys

Right, graphics from DMB Graphics Ltd recieved today, yet to fit them to the car as waiting for my alloys back from AD Tyres.

Brought some dust caps from Amazon, and asked Dave from DMB to create me some custom stickers for them.got this idea from a certain Bens TDCI.

Took 1 week for the graphics to arrive, included them actually being made, confirmation of dispatch received yesterday and actually arrived today first class delivery, good service :)

Also purchased some bulbs for my drivers and passenger footwells, however, as you can see, they aim the light at just the one spot on the floor so I'm going to get some better ones shortly from autobulbs, they're twice as bright at these ones and scatter the light 360 degrees.

Didn't particularly like effect of the footwell bulbs I got from amazon, so I had a look on autobulbs and found these..

Also added my gel badges from DMB Graphics, Dave suggested I heat them up prior to applying them.

Also brought some black wheel bolt covers to fit over the existing bolt caps as didn't like the chrome finish on the gun metal wheels. These fitted perfectly over the existing caps but as I have found, these end to come lose when removing the wheel, I had about 3 missing so I just lined the inside of the bolt cap with blue tack and pushed it right on, feels sturdy enough.

Also fitted the dust caps I got earlier in the thread.
