Mk4 Fiesta that i once owned

Post by kabz77 »

Gents, this was my first car that I bought brand new as soon as I passed my driving test, I modified it completely as you can see from pics. I changed the engine to the Puma 1.7 inc upgrading the gearbox, Piper manifold, sport cat and exhaust, KW coilovers. All handles were de-locked and de-handled, entry to car was via buttons under front mirrors (TVR style). Any way not gonna bore you, I get depressed when I see these pics coz I'd spent thousands and sold it for peanuts weep weep.

Ben - please dont compliment the car, it makes me cry, sometimes I wish I never sold it, the amount of time, effort and money I spent on this car it makes me feel ashamed, but at the same time it was very fun to work on.

Jam rs - The Puma 1.7 made the car shift! The mk4 Fiesta's chassis is apparently lighter than the Puma, so with a 1.7 the car did move really quick, people told me that I will get loads of wheel spin and that I might need to consider putting a Racing Puma LSD gearbox (very rare and EXPENSIVE), fortunately I didn't have to, the car never produced major wheel spin unless I deliberately floored it hard.
Just so you know it was Alan at Puma Build that did the conversion but I sourced the engine myself through Ebay.
