My Panther Black ZS

Post by Viper »

Hi guys! Joined up thanks to someone posted on my wall on ZSOC.

I used to have a 5 door saxo diesel that I took on track days, seen here

Interior was taken out and replaced with Sparco fixed buckets and 4 point harnesses, 266mm brakes, upper and lower strut braces (with bonnet raisers to accomodate) and a VTS front bumper. It was great fun but bloody slow!

Replaced it with the Fiesta in 2009. It is a Petrol ZS with Street Pack, Bluetooth, USB/AUX and voice controls.

Photo from the day I got it

Since I got it it has stayed standard but has gone back in to Ford for numerous issues. USB input went dodgy, started refusing the USB stick I had used since the day I got it. It developed a misfire caused by the ignition coil in cylinder 4. This was a very long and tedious issue due to Stoneacre Ford mechanics being fucking useless! The current issue is the front suspension squeaking.

After about 4 months I had the car round Croft

After about a year of having the car, even with the good methods I use to wash the car it was covered in swirls so me and a mate took a PC to it

The only modification I have made to the car so far are headlights with black inserts.

That's it for now. I have loads of things I want to do to the car, but not much will actually get done.

Cheers, Tom

Thanks!

As for plans, I want to get the exterior plastics sprayed gloss black and would love to get my old bucket seats put in but that won't be practical taking into account issues with the airbag lights and the fact there aren't any subframes to fit the fiesta yet and I can't be bothered getting some made.

If I could do everything I want then I would love the rear diffuser and Milltek exhaust that PumaSpeed have started doing, but I can't see that happening as I don't have freedom to modify the car :naughty:

Meh, may as well come straight out. My dad bought me the car, and he doesn't appreciate that I like to modify cars so I can't get away with much. Saying that, I managed enough with the saxo.

We will see how I get on. I have only managed the lights because he doesn't know I've done it

Thank you everyone :)

I still get lots of looks with the numberplate! Takes me a while to remember thats what they will be looking at, after the thought process off 'what the f*** are you looking at!?'

Thanks! That was done a fair few months ago and was our first full detail of a car so it could do with another go. Also i need to get a spot pad onto the side skirts, we didn't have one at the time and they're appalling!

Yeah go for it with the pics, if it's either of the track pics of the fiesta can you let me know first as i didn't take those so will check with the guy who did :)
