Fiesta 2011 Parking Assist Siren

Hi,

I recently bought a Fiesta 2011 1.4, the previous owner bought it from the local ford dealer. The car has front and rear parking assist.

Whenever I start the car and put it into reverse the parking assist button flashes and a loud siren followed by a series of beeps goes off. Sometimes 4 beeps, sometimes 8.

My understanding is that when there is a fault the assist becomes disabled and the beeps tell you which sensor is faulty.

Does anyone know what beeps mean what?

Did you manage to sort out as i hawe the same isue! Just mine does 6 beeps all the time!
