It's quite straightforward to do. The replacement HID bulb fits in the same hole as the standard H7 bulb and the power for the ballast is taken fron the O/E bulb holder. I've mounted each ballast under each headlight. You have to cut a hole in the bulb cover to pass the wires through. I'd also recommend using H7R kits as these don't dazzle in the way normal H7 HID bulbs do. We use these kits for customers cars and they DO pass the MOT.

Lots - my pockets are much lighter now and the van a whole lot heavier! I'm looking at maybe getting some wrap around the bottom part of the grill. It's well tricky though. Still got to mesh the grill and somehow get a big intercooler behind it.

theres a few mk7 rwd cossie builds on passion ford at the mo, you might be able to get intercooler ideas from them :)

Painted the Mondeo calipers today - cant make my mind up about the ford stickers. They look better in the flesh!
