Fiesta Metal... First Ford

Post by JORDAN8710 »

Hey all.
Got my Fiesta Metal on wednesday after waiting just under two weeks. This is the first ford i have owned and the first time ive owned a brand new car.... Its ace. Im really chuffed with it. Its nippy enough and looks really nice. The heated leather seats are i nice touch too. I told myself that i wasnt going to tamper with it, but i think i will make a couple of subtle modifications.
Can anyone advise good lowering spring or coilover kits? Eibachs?? I was thinking spring as i dont want to change the characteristics too much. I was looking at HID kits and LED number plate/ sidelight bulbs too. Does the fiesta metal bring up a warning light?? Thanks
Jordan

Welcome to the site. Eibachs will give you a nice little drop and improve the handling a bit. Not sure about warning lights when changing bulbs.

Yeah i was thinking about the eibachs but i would have prefered something lower than 30mm. Looked at the pics of dals car which is on eibachs but its not that noticable. There are H&R springs on pumaspeed which give a 50mm drop. Has anyone had any experiance with these???

I think hurst_13 has used h&r springs, have a look on the project threads.
