I tried to do this yesterday and made a right mess of it. I called Ford to ask for a price of the new key. 1 dealer said 120 EU (plus 85 to program and 20 to cut) and the other said that my car wouldnt allow for the flipkey conversion. I just took mine back to Ford as I couldnt get the 4rth gear in without the ginding noise. Even with double clutching and easy driving it made an awful noise and they have decided to replace the syncromesh. Luckily its under guarantee.. I only had it 2 weeks and its run 33000kms.
