Hello All, I wonder if any of you can help me with the following. I would like an alarm chirp when I lock or unlock my MK7 fiesta Zetec without going to the trouble of fitting an alarm. Its just to confirm the car locking and unlocking without having to watch the lights. Thanks in advance. Mark.

Looks like you bend the small tab on the gaiter outwards so the base of the gear stick knob will pull past it. Not good for a 5/6 month old car. Ford assistance doesnt sound like assistance to me when they take so long to get to you. I would complain to Ford and the dealership. Good luck and hope its something simple.
