Hi. Ive got this problem with mine and ive been battling ford with it since may and they swear blind its how the car is supposed to be. I keep getting a different explanation everytime I take it in to them. So if you get yours fixed let me know thanks.

Try cleaning the fuel filters , my car felt like it didnt have a turbo till I cleaned them,

Blanking egr valve ? I had the 1400 mk7 diesel on courtesy and that had no lag. I am gonna get a hyundi ha

Im having the same problem. With my titanium 95. After 4 visits to the garage and a big fuss made my fuel filters were cleaned and it made a big difference with the accelaration but still flat spot between gears. 5 attempts at software update an half the time it didnt accept it.

Hi, the problem with the massive turbo lag between gear changes you had with your car, I have the same problem and my ford garage are denying there is a problem because there computer says there isnt. Was your car sorted straight away ? They have done various updates on my car and had problems with ...
