ST side skirt clips
Ive recently replaced some broken clips holding the side skirt on my ST. I had trouble finding the correct clips so posting some info here. FYI The side skirt is attached via: 1) front and rear end caps which fit into the wheel arches 2) double sided sticky tape for the sections abutting the front a...

Haynes manuals are not what they used to be
Just bought a Haynes manual for Mk 7 Fiesta. Compared to the Haynes manuals of old it is no way as good- no exploded diagrams which really help to give you an overview of things - just small poor quality B&W photos. It even has a chapter on Fuel Economy and their advice on driving for short journeys...

disabling the fuel pump on ST
The other day was thinking back to my XR2 days and the DIY alarm and security measures we used in those days. I then wondered if, as an additional security aid for an ST, would it be possible to disable the fuel pump by breaking into the wire on the earth side of the pump and adding wires to extend ...

Re: Snow Foam Lance
I have a cheap jet washer from Homebase (small blue plastic bug-like thing with black wheels) - it must be at least 10 years old and still works fine. Its lance (which has 3 sections - handle , middle section (extension) and nozzle) has brass bayonet connectors which dont seem to correspond with any...

dead battery ? any issues in replacing with a new one.
A couple of questions about our 2013 Fiesta 1.0L Ecoboost 28K miles Fiesta was left standing in carport for nearly 4 weeks with nothing left on (ie lights /radio) . Tried to start it but the battery was completely flat - not a flicker anywhere. Had to open car with key. Battery voltage down in the 1...

wheel sizes for 2013 Fiesta zetec
Im putting together a winter set of wheels - what 15" wheel specification do I need for 2013 Fiesta Zetec 1.0T Ecoboost. Ive got a set of alloys (in very good condition) from a Focus which Im told will fit a Mk7 Fiesta They are genuine Ford 6Jx15 H2. Ive measured the PCD to be 108mm. But the offset ...
