Hey mate. When i picked up my Zetec S i had the same noise. It went away after a while (it never bothered me though). Was it on the forecourt for a while??

Parked outside the village shop. Went in and heard a bang (thought nothing of it) When I came out and looked at the back of my car this little treat was waiting for me. I drove from Scunthorpe to Derby last weekend. Had myself and the other two mini noobMk7's in the car and got 56 Mpg. All motorway.
