Nearly had accident.......brakes?
Hi Ford Fiesta 1225 Zetec 3 months old 1700 miles to date. Bit of a question for you as I am not sure about the brakes. She will be going into the dealer but wondering if anyone has any ideas Yesterday afternoon with weather dry and doing about 25 mph, a woman walks straight out in front of me then ...

Tyre pressure Zetec 1.25
Hi According to the book the pressures should be 31psi front and 26psi rear both for normal load. However the sticker on the passenger door post says 31psi all round? Any idea which is correct? Cheers :D Forget the above as I was reading it wrong  Two coats of polish and a coat of autoglym an...

Re: Glove Box Light..?
I asked at the dealers if I have a switch to turn off the passenger air bag to fit a baby seat and they told me there isn't one in my Zetec. They did mention there is a blank cut out in the glove box which is where it would go, perhaps it's that?

Mk7 fiesta Zetec passenger door
Hi all This afternoon my wife opened up her door onto a concrete post and scratched and rolled up the black piece to the rear of the passenger window. Sorry to seem thick but what is this piece called? They used to be painted metal years go but on the fiesta it's seems like it's covered in a stick o...

Hi
Speaking as a 62 year old who's last mod was putting wing mirrors on an Austin 1800 what does de-wipered mean?
As a rider to that I am not a 62year old with pipe and slippers just yet

Re: Daylight running lights?
As the OP on this thread I am pleased to say it didn't come with DRLs :D it did however come with a resident spider of a huge size  All in all I am very pleased with the car and the dealership. Just one gripe and that's the fact that the USB throws a hissy fit from time to time and the petrol...

Re: USB Aggggghhhhh!
Hi, I gave it 500 miles without exceeding 3000RPM. Then started to exercise it a bit. Will use it fully once I get over a 1000 miles. You probably don't need to run in these days but it's nice to when you've just got a new one. Cheers, Neil. Doing exactly the same with mine, at the moment I am on 4...

Neil
Just out of curiosity you mentioned "nearly run in" what did your running in period consist of?
13000 tracks! Makes my 48 albums seem trivial
Cheers

Re: USB Aggggghhhhh!
I have also had problems with the USB connection. I have found if i am scrolling back through the folders too quickly the system gets confused and stops recognising the USB at all. I have two sticks in the car and in my haste a few days ago scrolled back quickly and it just refused to work or even s...

Re: What is this tape on bodywork for?
I wondered the same and decided it was for protection of the bodywork but I really don't know.
