I have had a search of the forum but have not found a similar situation. I am unable to open the bonnet and I believe the cable has become detached at the bonnet end. The cable moves freely from the bonnet lever, and I can feel the cable moving at the other end, but there is no resistance, until the it reaches the metal lug at the end, at which point I can not pull the cable any further.
Do you guys have any tips? Or is someone able to post a video or detailed photos of their lock mechanism working? This will help me to determine a method to release the bonnet.
