Hood skock absorber!

Hi, I've been searching and I haven't found a topic so far with home-made mounting of a bonnet, like they are on more expensive cars! There are kits on aliexpress but I would like to build it myself and that is why I am looking for information if someone before me managed to do it. The car in question is a model of Fiesta 2014 / mk 7.5 LPG and I hate that primitive system with bonnet support bar. I am interested in the length and pressure of the shock absorber and then its gripping position! Thanks!
