Hi,
I have a 2010 Fiesta with aircon.
Can i interchange the manual controls with a climate control?
does it fit on the loom? And will it work?

Re: Climate control
The manual system uses bicycle style cables between the knobs and the vents. On climate control, the control panel is electronic and operates the vents using motorised actuators. So as well as the control panel, you would need the actuators, sensors and probably the loom.Klots322 wrote: Can i interchange the manual controls with a climate control?

I should add that from one experience with a car with auto, I am pleased to return to manual in the Fiesta - it's so much easier to set the required level of heat through direct control than with a temperature setting. Though I obviously don't know whether that car was typical of auto in general or whether the manufacturer just didn't have a clue.

I've done conversion on my fiesta 2008.
You will need:
dashboard wiring,
fan,
heater matrix,
complete box/ housing with actuators,
control panel,
I've paid for complete set less than £100
You will need to de-gas and re-gas your air-con.
You will allso need someone with IDS who can change configuration of your car.
My manual in Polish, you can use google translator for it.
