I hope someone is able to help me please. Both keys have been lost for my 2009 1.25 Fiesta. My local Ford dealer say they can't get a new key without the key number and basically don't really seam very helpful.
I have seen secondhand lock sets with ecu, clocks, radio etc on eBay but don't really know what is the best way forward. People on eBay are also just selling ingnition and door lock but I presume the car won't start unless everything is programmed in.
I would be very grateful if anyone is able to offer me some advise, thank you.

Re: Lost car keys
Hi,
couple options:
1. I would ask this guy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Focus-20 ... xylpNTVHOW if he can cut key to your door lock by taking it apart. After that you still will need two used keys (I would go for flip key.) and coding at fords dealer or someone with IDS (i can code keys)
2. Get ignition barrel or complete steering column with door lock and ideally two keys and code them.
3. Complete set, speedo, pcm, bcm, keys x2, door lock, ignition barrel/ steering column. Don't forget if you change whole kit you will still need to program it at Fords to change car configuration and most important VIN number.
If you live around Lincoln I can help with option 2, which from my point of view is easiest/ cheaper.

Re: Lost car keys
Thank you very much for responding with the information, I really do appreciate your help.
The 2nd option sounds the best but I thought you couldn't recode the keys if you didn't have a key to do it from.
I'm actually in Newcastle so not very close to you otherwise your help to recode would be great.
I went in to my local Ford garage but they seemed clueless and we no help at all.
I don't suppose you no anywhere in the north east that could help me recode if I get a second-hand ignition and door lock do you.
Thank you.
Graham
