hey i have a sony head unit , and now it has a problem. when I turn on the radio, it starts to play music, but after a few seconds it stops playing and get silent before continuing to play. it keeps on like that all the time, with the same time interval.
Do someone know what could be wrong?

Just at a guess, the external mute could be kicking in. Is it an original fitment or has it been put in after it left the factory?

I have figured out what the problem was. the problem was that when I installed multiple amplifiers to build my audio system, the resistance back on the head unit was to large. it reusulterte in the head unit stopped working.
