rain water getting onto front door speakers

i have a 2009 fiesta titanium which had rattling speakers in the front doors.still under warranty.however only certain parts on the car are covered up to 3 years.noticed passenger door card had become loose.i removed the card & realised that the last owner[ex mobility vehicle] had changed the speakers.they had fitted incorrect speaker adapters causing the speaker to rest on the door card making it vibrate.However the speaker was rusty.i then noticed water dripping on the inter part of the door & dripping down to where the speaker was.how can i stop this happening.i realise that a certain amount of water will get though the window seal,but not track though into the speakers

You shouldn't be getting water on the speaker, strip it down and find out exactly where its coming in from,.
