LOL - just about to get round to doing this mod - and the wife got a car park scrape on the bumper... took it to the local Ford bodyshop for a quote and the lad said he would fit the DRLs for £75 all in
Seems like a bargain price to me
And now I will show you the most excellent way... 1 Corinthians 12 v 31
i have a 2012 fiesta, with these exact LED running lights fitted, i bought it brand new from lookers ford in sheffield.
it has done 18000 miles and almost 4 years to the day, one of the led strips stopped working, i have had my auto electrician check it out and he says it is the led strip that has ceased. I contacted lookers ford sheffield, and they cannot get hold of
these led strip lights, so in effect i have a 4 year old fiesta that has obsolete parts.
i know it has run out of warranty but surely 18000 miles does not equate to the 10000 hours recommended for led's.
does anyone know where i can get these exact same led's as in the black ford fiesta in the picture where they are fitted into the bumper please???
thanks
I have a Fiesta Centura and the LED Daytime Running Lights on one side has stopped working. Looks like there's water ingress and condensation inside it. Does anyone know how easy they are to replace, and the best place to get them. Otherwise I may just tape over them, and hopefully that will allow it to get it through its next MOT. I think that DRLs weren't mandatory when the Centura was manufactured.
