Hi
I'm a Newbie here. Many thanks for all the comments.
I thought it was just me with wide-angle mirror on the n/s!
Stupid and disorientating.
I do a lot of urban (london), rural AND motorway driving so would prefer to have mirrors that function for all occasions!
As I now need to replace the n/s mirror glass, I was thinking of buying off eBay the blind-spot mirror for the driver side and fitting (either myself or at a garage)
Do any of you think this is a bad idea?
I've looked at the mirror for n/s and how it fits together.
It looks like the caps have to be eased-off, then unsolder the heated wires; and unclip from the base. Then push-on the new mirror glass.
What do you think?
DIY or ask for it to be done? Or leave it as standard convex mirror.
Many thanks
