Yes another led thread lol. Okay i ordered these on the bay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280646230436? ... 2530wt_956

They came yesterday so i decided to try to install them as sidelights they fit in to the plug ok but once there connected to the plug i cant get them through the little hole which the sidelight bulb and the plug bit for it sit in if that makes sense ? :-?. They didnt fit in the number plate either same issue they connect fine but to larger diameter for the holder. So for now one is in the passenger footwell and the other in the bootlight. Brilliant bulbs btw very bright ! Just annoying that they wont fit as sidelights. I understand there are millions of threads on leds at the moment lol. But maybe a thread where you post your bulbs/leds with a link & price and little write up ? Otherwise could someone please suggest to me some leds for the sidelights that are bright ( i have 4 led smd ones in at the moment but want brighter)

Thank you in advance guys, matt ! :D

Yeah I think they are the wide ones I had same issue... Not with sidelights but the rear plate ones I had to trim the plastic to make them fit

Something is not right if the wont fit in the gap. I only had to trim my licence plate bulbs but I think your issue is opposite to mine can you post a pic

Its raining in woking so i cant get one now :(
basically head light out sidelight/dipped beam cover off.
Old bulb out.
I plug the led in to the plug.
line the plug with led up with the hole that it goes through.
I insert the plug with led in to the hole the led goes about halfway through then it gets stuck as if the hole is to small to accommodate it.
So it likes half the led is in the hole if i look at the headlight i see half the led and then the other half with the plug end is stuck so the plug doesnt like go all the way in like its meant to. I will try and get a pic tomorrow if its dry as its obvs a case of taking headlight out and i dont have the luxury of a dry garage haha

Cheers for your help though bud

Looks like its the lip of the led that's holding it back. Use a pin and a lighter and melt though the side of the led and around to make it thin

I sell ones that are very bright, THEY FIT and they wont bring on a bulb warning light. £9.75 inc post. Made in Germany. The one you have bought will bring on the can warning system of bulb failure on your dash :(
