Just looking to see what peoples experiences are,
im looking to tint my rear windows 20% before the baby is due, and possible have 70% on the front
Are your windows tinted?
What windows, All/just rear? %?
Where you had them tinted?
How much you paid?
Would you recomend the installer?
Why you had them tinted?

What windows, All/just rear? - So far just rear, limo black (95% intensity), looking to do the fronts and windscreen soon at max legal level
Where you had them tinted? - Chips Away (Black Code/Ace Car Care)
How much you paid? - £120 with a lifetime guarantee
Would you recomend the installer? - Definitely, great service, great product, always helping me out with little bits and bobs for free.
Why you had them tinted? - Looks mainly, and in the 3 days a year we get a heatwave, they're a lifesaver when driving!

Be careful of tinting the fronts, my brother had his megane done to the 'legal' limit by a professional in norwich, got pulled & told they were illegal! Apparently there's a number/code printed on the glass that tells you what tint level they are, and factory tinted fronts are the max tint allowed by law according to the traffic copper

front windows are often tinted by manufacturers to their maximum allowed by EU and UK law, usually carries a fine per windows or points, depends on the copper, however, because it means you cant see bikers etc properly...don't do the fronts, wear sunglasses!
