Upgraded Fiesta 09 radio loom no aux

So I recently managed to get hold of a bluetooth usb radio loom along with all the associated parts for the upgrade (mic, bluetooth receiver, radio facia and screen, etc) from the standard early fiesta radio. I haven't programmed it yet but I was testing to see if everything worked as it did before the upgrade. The new loom had a usb connection split with the aux. Upon testing everything seemed fine apart from the aux connection. I was planning on getting it reprogrammed next week but I'm not sure if I'll bother if the loom is dodgy. Is it a loom issue or could it be due to the new hardware needing programmed first?
