just a quick question, first time i have filled up today in the mk7 ztetc s tdci 61 plate and the reader shows 372 miles. This cannot be correct? The car has done just under 7k miles.

What's your driving style and type of journey?
The cold also has an affect on diesels.

mainly motorway driving, twenty miles a day then little bits in-between. i appreciate it will go up and down as i drive different ways. but a full tank undriven and the reader shows 370 miles? that can not be correct?

Do you reset your MPG everytime? I would also use the brim to brim test to work out your true MPG.

How many litres did you put in?

Mine does this too but once you start driving it does creep up.
