fan trouble

fan trouble

the fan housing in the front of my 1.25 fiesta has come lose so when the engine is running it rattles about a lot making it sound like a tractor does anyone know where the mounting points for the fan are and if you need to remove the bumper

You may need to remove the bumper I am not to sure ill have a look in Haynes manual when I get home

its alright i have the haynes manual i just though i would ask here instead of flicking through pages

Hahah yeah with other cars there normally behind front bumper but with a flexible screwdriver or alen key you may be able to tighten them depending on kind of bolt

ah right cool well i have until the end of the month to fix it thats when the mk7 edge is getting traded in for the metal :D

ah well im lucky i have a few ford dealers in my area ill just take it to a different from where i am trading it in because the noise is horrid and i still have to drive it for a while
