I have an issue with my mk7 ford fiesta. I installed some 3-way speakers into the rear panel, got them wired properly(used a legit diagram) and the speakers won't work. How do you activate the speakers? I tried the audio diagnostic by pressing ok/radio on-off button with the key in on position(not igniting engine) and all it did was show radio light diagnostics. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out.
Thanks,
Glenn
Ps: I drive a u.s. ford fiesta m7.

I have the Mk7 zetec S 60 plate, rear speakers work fine, however, are you saying that if i was to remove the existing speakers, anf fit some aftermarked pioneer ones for example, i would need to get them activated by ford? whats the purpose of that? lol

Would only need activating if rear speakers weren't there before.
Does it use a software update? I used ford ids version 80, 81, and v83.... But modular programming > programmable parameters > car configuration doesn't show up. Does anyone have a step-by-step guide to using ids to activate the speakers? I can get to modular programming, programmable parameters, but it only has options like; tire size, personality, etc. maybe I'm missing something.... Is it possible to just move the wires to a different part of the head unit to keep the software from disabling the speakers? Please help
