So, is this a common noise?
I have found a couple of threads that say yes and a couple that say no, umm! [Strokes chin]
The whine itself is only at idle and stops when the clutch is engaged.
Anybody else with the same noise? Does anybody know the real truth!!

but did experience it in the ST and ended up to be the trustbearing

Never had it but sounds like a dry thrust bearing
