Drivers electric window

Hi I have just purchased a 2010 plate zetec s, the drivers electic window only goes down halfway but the passengers fully retracts is this normal

Does it make any noises when it stops?

Doesn't it need the reset? Pull lever so it goes all way to top, then quickly pull it up again and hold it for a few seconds, push it down till it goes all the way and quickly push it again holding for a few seconds.

Think this is how you reset them

There is a window reset guide on here but I thought it was for the auto wind down
