Hi guys
I have just bought a 2010 plate mk7 with 40000 on the clock and a full service history, i love the car especially the mpg,
Im not really into fast motors anymore so don't require something quick but was wondering if this car would benefit from a remap to add more torque for getting up hills better and leas gear changes etc..
Im pretty happy with the performance as it is it suits me but if it could do better and better mpg from a remap why not?
Although i wouldn't do it if there is a high chance of engine/turbo/gearbox failure
Your thoughts and suggestions would be brill thanks

Re: Remap 1.4 tdci
I have a 1.4 TDCi and a remap will take it somewhere just above what a 1.6 TDCi runs at. Not really worth it in my opinion. Couple a remap with the usual reliability risks, and you may as well have bought a 1.6 in the first place.
I bought my 1.4 purely for the economy and in my opinion a remap could make it unreliable costing me money. Tight aint I!!
