For a while now my car has been shuddering in third gear, the problem has now become really frustrating as the car had a a full service a couple of weeks ago which included a new fuel filter. Still no luck so the EGR valve was checked (which was found to have seized up) so this too was replaced but still no luck. The car continues to shudder which is very disheartening as I have not long had the car. It's a 1.4 TDCi for those who may have any help on this problem.

I would be very greatful for any who can help as I just don't know what else to do!!! Cheers.

What type of shudder isit mate ? A type of misfire shudder a front shudder back shudder ?

It feels as though its coming from the front of the car.

Could be anything drive shafts, engine mount, gearbox mount

I would take it to a garage and get a "free quote" they will put it up on the ramps to find the problem
