lights on when unlocking

My car (2010 1.4 titanium 3 door) automatically puts the lights on, front side lights and rear, for about 30 seconds when you press the remote to unlock it. This feature annoys me as for one thing changing a bulb is a fiddle on the rear lights and a major job with lots of choice words to do the front. With the lights on off on off about 5 times a day the bulbs blow regularly so can this feature be turned off. I have the light switch set with auto lights off and have found nothing in the handbook or settings menu.

Change your side light to LEDs so they last much longer and shouldn't be an issue then
