Rear Lights Keep Blowing. :(

I've had my car since May and it's fine otherwise.. but my left hand rear brake light keeps blowing. Most of the time when it's been raining.

When pressing the unlock button all of the lights turn on as usual. I have the LH brake light on. But when I press the brake I get no light.
I think it's using a dual filament bulb so filament 1 is fine but filament 2 won't light up. This has been the case of all of the bulb faults so far. On the last change, I went to Halfrauds to have them fit it, just in case it was me but again it's gone.

I've had to replace the bulb about 4 times already. It's always the same side that goes. Same issue. Filament one works, brake doesn't.

I saw the other night, I had condensation on the inside of the light unit. Should I just buy a new light unit or is it likely to be something more serious? Like electrical? or a Seal problem?

- Other Lighting Questions;
If I do have to buy new light units. Can I put the new 2013 lights on my 2009/59 model?
What are the brightest non blue bulbs I can get for the front. No LED or HID kit. Just standard bulbs in the projection units.

You tried replacing the fuse?
For the front lighting, try the nightbreakers or xtreme. http://www.powerbulbs.com/blog/2013/04/ ... ulb-review

Do you mean when you unlock you get left hand brake light on? Is it the same when you put the side lights on? If so the bulb is probably in wrong way round. Take it out and turn it 180 degrees and put it back in. Your brake light is probably working but lighting what should be the side light filament which is not bright enough to be seen over the brightness of the brake light filament that s on when the side lights are on.
